Orientation Program

Military Veterans and First Responders require unique, strategic care for their mental wellness journey.  The Clinic offers a zero expectations orientation program where the first three sessions are free for the most extreme cases of Operational Stress Injuries/Post Traumatic Stress. It’s intended to help them ease into counselling therapy, orient themselves and build therapeutic trust. They are likewise welcome to a variety of tea and coffee in a living room style atmosphere which includes a sliding rocking chair.   VVCC also respects that due to the severity of symptoms, military veterans and first responders might only feel comfortable with virtual sessions and/or phone call appointments. Interprovincial services are also available upon suitability.
