FREE PARKING

1. There is a large lot for clients offside the building at 358 Rothesay Avenue. The building is a black, ground level complex with several units. Parking is sometimes available out front of Pizza Hurt, Minds Matter with A & J Counselling Solutions, and Modern Cuts for those with chronic pain and/or struggle with physical mobility.

2. Please enter through the Minds Matter with A & J Counselling between Pizza Hut and Modern Cuts Barbour Shop and you will go down the short hallway.

ARRIVAL

1. Travelling somewhere new can feel overwhelming. If you arrive late because you are feeling stressed, got lost or struggle with short-term memory, please feel free to call the Clinic at 506 642 5392 or email natalie@valhallavcc.com

2. I can meet you at the door or walk you out if you require an accommodation at any time. 

3. The clinic is a sole proprietor private practice without a secretary at this time. 

Hospitality & Privacy

Valhalla Visions' environment embraces 13 years of previous work experience hosting clientele in a safe and comfortable home-like atmosphere in treatment centres, group homes and community residences. Its location is in a safe area on an active road with several businesses, car dearlerships and restaurants.

SETUP AND ROUTINE CLEANLINESS

1. As of October 1st, 2025 the clinic will be operating without other counsellors sharing the suite.

2. Upon arrival, if you are physically able to, outdoor footwear is taken off. This is meant to preserve the farmhouse atmosphere and limit traction of dirt from outside. If you suffer from chronic physically health complications otherwise you are not required nor expected to remove your shoes.

3. There is a sound barrier machine located in the waiting room to block out others from hearing conversations. If you find the noise activating due to tinnitis or for another reason, you are welcome to sit in the common area.

4. Please help yourself to the refreshment and snack buffet located in the common area/kitchen when you arrive for your appointment(s). You are welcome to sit in this space.

5. There is a private, regularly cleaned washroom at the far end of the common area/kitchen off to the right.

6. The therapy room is set up like a living room. Feel free to sit where you feel is best for you. 

7. Several sensory calming/stimulation items for anxiety and/or dissociation are on hand. A comfortable rocking chair is available.

8. Several floor lamps are utilized so the overhead florecent lighting can be turned off. This is especially helpful for those who may have a traumatic brain injury.

9. The clinic is cleaned and disinfected regularly, linens are routinely washed and the garbage cans are emptied frequently.

10. Disposable masks, hand sanitizer and hand lotion are available.

11. If you require anything otherwise to feel secure in the room, please let me know and I will accommodate you to the best of my ability.
