Fundraising & Sponsoring by VVCC

Starting in 2025, hours billed and paid for client report writing at Valhalla Visions Counselling Clinic will be going into a shared pot for two registered charities. Reports are thorough and extensive to help clients get what they deserve and need. New clients are welcome for its potential capacity to be larger. VVCC also offers 3 free sessions for military veterans and first responders (for extreme cases) if they need to orient themselves and feel comfortable with coming to counselling therapy.  The two charities are:

A) Calgary Veterans Services Society (Charity# 761280130 RR0001)

The Clinic would like to sponsor a cabin at the Calgary Veteran Services Society Clearwater Retreat. It is for the life of a veteran and their family battling Post Traumatic Stress and finding it challenging to transition to civilian life. If any other likeminded businesses or individuals are interested the funds would be between $5000 to $10,000. I visited the Retreat this Summer in Alberta and it was a lovely experience. B) Can Praxis (Charity# 799907894 RR0001)

Can Praxis, 2024 Veterans Ombudsman Commendation Award  

The Clinic would like to make a monetary donation to Steve Critchley, C.D. (Warrant Officer, Retired) and his prestigious staff members at Can Praxis.  Founded in 2013 by a Canadian Military Veteran, Can Praxis is the leading Equine-Assisted Therapy provider for the Veteran and First Responder communities.  

Our Mission: Helping Veterans, First Responders (serving and retired) and their Spouses/Partners/Family Members, living with an Operational Stress Injury (OSI). We aim to improve Spouse/Partner/Family function for our Veterans and First Responders through equine-assisted therapy and support.
